Jason Alan Berkley, D.O.
Bio
A native of the suburbs of Metro Detroit, Dr. Berkley moved to Los Angeles in 2002. His goal has always been to provide a comprehensive conservative care plan for every patient while trying to avoid the use of narcotic pain medication as much as possible. He specializes in intervention of disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as SI joints and hips. In addition to traditional epidural and joint injections, as well as radiofrequency ablation, he is also skilled in the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) as an alternative to the use of cortisone. Dr. Berkley also uses EMG/nerve conduction studies as another diagnostic tool to help patients.

Dr. Berkley earned his undergraduate degree with a BS in psychology from Michigan State University. He then moved to Kansas City, MO for his medical degree from Kansas City School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Berkley moved to Los Angeles after completing his neurology residency as well as a fellowship in neurophysiology (EEG/EMG) at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. After practicing as a general neurologist, he went back for yet another fellowship in interventional spine pain management at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. There, he has established himself as a leader in the community regarding spine interventional pain. Dr. Berkley is board certified in neurology.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, working out, and watching Detroit sports. His most cherished time is spent with his wife, Audrey, and two young daughters.
